Low Refrigerant Diagnostics
A/C systems don't consume refrigerant — if yours is low, refrigerant has escaped. Topping it up without finding the leak means you'll be back in the same spot next season. We diagnose first: locate the leak and document it. Once the leak is addressed — whether that's an easily-accessible o-ring I can handle on-site, or a larger repair that goes back to a shop — we restore the charge.

Low Refrigerant Diagnostics
Find it before you fill it
Adding refrigerant to a leaking system is expensive and temporary. The refrigerant will escape again — whether that takes one week or one season depends on the size of the leak. We use nitrogen pressure testing and electronic leak detection to locate the leak before any refrigerant goes in.
What we determine
After pressure testing and leak scanning, we can tell you: where the leak is (fitting, hose, condenser core, evaporator, compressor shaft seal), approximately how severe the leak rate is, whether the system held any charge at all or is completely empty, and what repair is needed before the system can be recharged.
